FH! also adds a DW which means additional 100 damage, reduced healing and combined with a Cracked - it should ensure pretty much insta-kills or at least a kill in the VERY foreseeable future.
That screams "PROFIT!" not only for every foes up to the boss - but also for the boss.

I chose mind wrack over shrinking armor because I hated that all my other mesmer skills were from the domination a side and shrinking armor "stood out". Also mind wrack never lasts long because I shatter it , like any other hex , so it doesn't matter whether it's mind wrack or shrinking armor.

I think Mind Wrack may work better with A.Echo-CoP considering that it lasts longer.
But if it is a single CoP, both Mind Wrack and Shrinking Armor has shorter recycle time than CoP so both can work well with it where skill recycle time is concerned. But Shrinking Armor has the degen and condition.
@upier: And I can get my DW in through Shattered-PP long before the boss reaches hp<50%.

And you are using two slots for that.
You are using Shrinking + PP + Shatter to get the effect of FH.
If you have the slots - great. I'd rather bring Shatter Ench/Hex with me.

My discord heroes already bring enchant removal and they would also bring hex removal in places that are needed.
Besides, PP and Shrinking also serves the need to fuel CoP so nothing is wasted. You need a mesmer hex to fuel CoP.

Yeah, you need "A" mesmer hex for CoP.
You certainly don't need TWO mesmer hexes to fuel CoP.
Like I said, it depends on what you are running. But be aware that FH! is a VERY good option and very much worth the slot.
(And the point of Shatter Hex/Ench is the damage. The fact that you also remove something with it is just icing on the cake.)

Sure, but there is no reason not to take 2 mesmer hexes for CoP if you want to handle hex removal scenarios since most hex removing skills only remove 1 hex.

I am not saying that FH is a bad skill. It is a very powerful pve skill, but if I have only 1 slot on my mesmer, I would bring YMLAD (or EVAS) over FH.
I am not aiming for the highest possible single target damage in my mesmer bar. I am mainly aiming to support CoP besides having the hexes and conditions to help with Discordway.

Playing mesmer in HM isn't any different than any profession.
The only problem mesmers have is that AoE works good in most situations and mesmers ain't really good at causing AoE.
And many of the better mesmer skills are made to cause a time-out on a human player while AI doesn't care about that.
If you are playing mesmer in PvE and want to prevent you are efficient, try to work off-target or use CoP/AP in combination with a team spike build.
Or even better, play an organised human team and run a build that migrates damage so the red bars don't go down fast. That way you can add extra damage to the team, which makes things more efficient.
Also you can tweak for the annoying spells in the area.
For example, dolyaks in the south shiverpeaks carry Mark of Protection.
Easy to switch target, also easy to spot the usage and remove it right away.
Heroes are not that relyable in removing and also don't switch targets very fast is my impression.

True, but there is a difference between mesmer enchant removal and necro enchant removal. I actually prefer the necro enchant removal skill rend enchantments because it is deep enchantment removal.
If you happen to be fighting a Ceratadon, deep enchantment removal would be more useful and you can always click on your hero's skill bar or bind it to a key.

necro enchant removal is stupidly good, seriously Rip 10sec recharge and bleeding with no drawbacks and no spec required?! Rend removes all (pretty much all) enchants for 5 energy and zero spec?! so yeh necro enchant removal ftw BUT pretending "Finish Him!" isnt amazing is silly.. 10energy may aswell read "Kill target under 50% hp"

Nobody said FH is a silly skill. Read my post above. But I prefer YMLAD to it for kiting. Unless you are saying that YMLAD is inferior to FH in everyway. With a faster recharge and the ability to use it before target reaches 50% hp, I can use YMLAD more times on a boss than I can with FH, especially when I have my own DW skill.
